Story Highlight: Colton’s Journey of Hope
Meet Colton, a remarkable young boy whose journey illustrates the power of hope and healing. Like many children, Colton faced challenges that felt overwhelming, but thanks to the support of ChristianWorks for Children, he discovered a path toward resilience and joy.
After experiencing the trauma of his parents’ divorce, Colton struggled with feelings of sadness and confusion. It was during this difficult time that he participated in our KidWorks program, a supportive environment where children can explore their emotions and connect with others facing similar challenges. Through shared experiences and caring guidance, Colton learned to express his feelings and understand that he was not alone.
In his own words, Colton shares, “I felt sad, but I learned it’s okay to talk about my feelings. I made new friends, and now I know I can be happy again.”
