ChristianWorks is looking to partner with a PT Administrative Assistant/Content & Social Media Assistant for the Ft Worth location.

Location is: 2214 Hemphill Street, Fort Worth, TX 76110.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Performs all routine administrative support in the Fort Worth office and manages the Content & Social Media for ChristianWorks’ 10+ programs and departments. Duties include data entry, creating and distributing reports, curating compelling content for each of the ministries’ social channels (BecomingMom, AdoptionWorks, and ChristianWorks), monitors and responds to social media comments, messages, and inquiries completing assigned projects, general reception duties such as fielding telephone calls and receiving visitors, creating documents and spreadsheets, filing, and faxing. Demonstrates extensive software and internet research skills, as well as strong communication skills. Collaborate with another employee and communicates effectively to ensure all tasks are completed correctly and on time.

 

ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assists in other duties as needed and directed
  2. Prepares routine financial reports and assists with preparing budgets as instructed.
  3. Professionally and courteously receives telephone calls and visitors. Assesses needs and then provides assistance or directs calls or visitors to the appropriate staff.
  4. Executes all daily tasks for mail handling including delivery, receipt, postage meter, and distribution.
  5. Maintains paper and electronic files necessary for administrative purposes according to all policies.
  6. Assists with clerical tasks including typing, filing, proofreading, and data entry.
  7. Assists Office Manager and agency program staff with various projects as needed.
  8. Ensures that common areas are equipped with supplies, and places orders for routine supplies as needed, or for special supply requests from program managers/staff.
  9. Maintains working knowledge of all office equipment, and informs supervisor of service needs.
  10. Maintains good working relationships with staff, contractors, vendors, and service providers.
  11. Maintains a working knowledge of and adheres to organization policies, regulations, and procedures.
  12. Keeps immediate supervisor and administrative partner(s) well-informed of activities, results of efforts, and problems/potential problems identified; recommends corrective actions to immediate supervisor.
  13. Respects confidentiality in discussing client, staff, volunteer, and organizational matters. Maintains confidentiality of the organization’s fiscal, personnel, and client-related information at all times.
  14. Exhibits genuine concern for clients and always conducts oneself appropriately and professionally.
  15. Reports to work regularly and on time.

 

CONTENT & SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Curate compelling content for each of the ministries’ social channels (BecomingMom, AdoptionWorks, and ChristianWorks)
  2. Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand presence
  3. Create engaging posts, visuals, and multimedia content for various platforms
  4. Monitor and respond to social media comments, messages, and inquiries
  5. Collaborate with marketing teams to align content with brand objectives
  6. Research and stay updated on industry trends and social media best practices
  7. Assist in managing content calendars and scheduling posts across platforms
  8. Analyze social media metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
  9. Assist the Communications Director with any other social media duties requested

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High School Degree required, Business School or College degree preferred
  2. One to three years’ experience in office procedures, experience with non-profits preferred
  3. Advanced general computer skills and internet research skills
  4. Proven experience in content curation and social media management
  5. Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools like Canva
  6. Familiarity with content optimization
  7. Passion for storytelling and creative expression in digital spaces
  8. Advanced skills in typical office software including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), QB, etc.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  10. Demonstrated ability to work independently, and as a team player maintaining healthy work relationships in a fast-paced environment
  11. Available to work 3 days per week in office from 9am-5pm at Fort Worth location. (Note: Must include Friday, other 2 days negotiable.)
