Adoption Family Picnic and Celebration

On April 30, 2005, AdoptionWorks held its first ever Family Picnic and Celebration. Almost 100 family members who have been blessed by adoption over the past several years gathered at a beautiful park in Plano to share stories (and lots of hamburgers!). Adoptive families, birth parents and, of course many, many children enjoyed playing, eating and sharing each other's company--building new friendships and strengthening old bonds.

The picnic was such a success and time of joy that we plan to make it an annual event. Please contact us if you would like to be included in next year's celebration. All you have to do is look at the faces of the children to know that we were all blessed to be a part of this wonderful time together.
