Contract Position: Bilingual Licensed Counselor

ChristianWorks for Children is seeking applicants for a contract position as a Licensed Counselor in their CounselingWorks program.  Qualifications include:

• Active member of a church
• Permanent licensure by the State of Texas as Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (no interns or temporary licensures please)
• Masters degree required in a human services field (i.e., counseling, psychology, etc.)
• Must be able to read and speak Spanish fluently.
• Strong organizational and case management skills
• Professional experience counseling children a plus
• Experience in facilitating groups preferred, but not required
• Public speaking a plus
• Willingness to work some evenings

LPC Intern

ChristianWorks for Children is seeking applicants as Licensed Professional Counselor Interns in their CounselingWorks program.  Qualifications include:

• Licensed Professional Counselor Intern status with the State of Texas required
• Masters degree required in a human services field (i.e., counseling, psychology, etc.)
• Strong organizational and case management skills
• Professional experience counseling children a plus
• Experience in facilitating groups preferred, but not required
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings
• LPC interns with an approved supervisor or looking for an on-site supervisor
• Prefer active member of the church of Christ
